KRAKOW

The name of Polish Krakow should go as a pair to the neighboring Czech toponym Krkonoše (Karkonosze in Polish). Both contain the root "krak", common to Slavic and Georgian languages, meaning "oak" (in Georgian კრკო means "acorn"). Also, the name of the city ends with the Old Megrelian genitive case "-ოუ" suffix.
