COSSITANI

The name of this Iberian tribe in Spain on Ptolemy's map is an adjective from a toponym "Cosseti", which, in turn, comes from the root "cos-". The Kartvelian dictionaries offer two possible interpretations: "kosa" - "a person without facial hair" (compare to "Ilergetes") and "kosi" - "tambourine". "Cosseti" may be the country of either. The double "ss" in the name is most likely to prevent the voicing of the intervocalic "s".
