One of the tribes mentioned by Pliny in Spain is the "Kalagurritani". From it we have the right to single out the Kartvelian toponym "Kalagureti", formed, in turn, from a Kartvelian adjective "kalaguri". The root here may be "kalag", which we find in another adjective in the dictionary of Saba Orbeliani - "ყალაღანი" (kalagani), translated as "growing free". If the root "kalag" is related to "freedom", then the name "Kalagurritani" can be interpreted as "freedom-loving", which is very much in line with the description of the Iberians given by Strabo.
But another, and solider, interpretation would read it as "kala guri" (კალა გური). In Zan languages it means "white race".
