VENETIA

The toponym "Venice" (Venezia, Venetia, Veneto, Venetum) easily agrees with the presence in its name of the Kartvelian toponymic suffix "-et", which turns "Venice" into "Veneti", "country of veni". In its pure form, this root is not present in Kartvelian dictionaries, but it is in the word "venakhi" (ვენახი), meaning "vineyard" or "grapevine". Winemaking in Venice is more than a serious industry.

The same root can be seen in the name of Venus (Venus), who patronized winemaking. "...Vinalia Urbana (April 23), a wine festival under the patronage of Venus and Jupiter. Venus was the patron of simple wine for everyday drinking, while Jupiter patronized the strongest and purest sacrificial wine, and with it the weather in the vineyards...".

And finally, that could be the Paphlagonian Eneti with the starting "v-" added according to the Svan-Ukrainian tradition.
