The possibility of interpreting Kartvelian names beginning with "t-" as containing the demonstrative pronoun/definite article "თე" [te] allows us to get closer to solving the mystery of the largely mysterious ancient Ukrainian tribe of Tivertsi, who lived, according to the Primary Chronicle, on the Dnister. Isolating the article "te-" allows us to see the root "iver", which is still present in a huge number of toponyms throughout the Old World, primarily in the word "Iveria"/"Iberia".
The area of residence of the Tivertsi almost coincides with the land of the Alazones (Lazi) according to Herodotus and is located not far from the country of the Scythians-Georgoi. It is those Iver-Tivertsi who should be considered responsible for the huge number of kartvelisms in the ancient Ukrainian and Russian languages.
