TYMNESSOS

As has been explained many times, "-essos" = "-eti". Thus, the ancient Lycian city Tymnessos turns into the much more understandable Tumneti (also taking into account the "upsilon problem"). The stem of the name should be the Megrelian "tumina" meaning "monotonous speaking". The vowel would be omitted due to the rules of the Kartvelian morphology.
