The capital of the ancient state of Commagena in eastern Asia Minor is not only perfectly interpreted as a Kartvelian toponym with two toponymic morphemes “Sa-” and “-at”, but also uses the root “mos” as a root, which may belong to the ancient tribe of “Moskhs” who lived in these places.
A much simpler version would be "samosi" (clothes) in Georgian. Hence, "land of clothes (production)".
