The word with which the whole project "Between Two Iberias" began, thanks to blogger Natalia Sanadze. On the southern outskirts of Kutaisi there is a place called Odilauri, next to which the river Joris Psela ("mule's urine" in Georgian) flows.
The Ukrainian river Psel, along with a number of other rivers and toponyms, forms the core of the Kartvelian presence in ancient Ukraine. On the map "Tauric Chersonesos" the river, by the way, is indicated as "Psola", which, along with its current name, brings it as close as possible to the Georgian word "psela" (ფსელა). The water in the river is yellowish indeed, according to the locals.
