MYCENAE

The Greek name of the ancient city "Μυκήνη" is written with an upsilon, which makes it read as [mukeni]. And thus, it coincides with the Georgian word "მუკენი" [mukeni], meaning "pole", "pillar". Mycenaean kings, as is known, were buried in shafts, over which stone pillars with inscriptions were placed. If such pillars were characteristic of Mycenae, then the name is more than logical. Also remember that Pelasgians are highly likely to have been Kartvelians.
