MUHRANOVO

One of the villages of the Ural Cossacks is called Muhranovo. As is known, the Georgians themselves interpret the word "muhrani" as a distorted "muhnari" - "oak forest". The toponym is doubly curious, since the patchwork rug of the Ural Cossacks in Dahl's dictionary has a fantastic name "teksmet", which in Georgian means "sixteen".
