LUTETIA

The ancient name of Paris - Lutetia (Latin spelling) - clearly shows the Kartvelian toponym "Luteti", "the country of the luti". The word "luti" (ლუტი) in Georgian means "homeless beggar", "vagabond". Thus, Luteti is "the land of vagrants". Or the land of clochards, if you prefer.
