It is surprising that while the name of the country "Libya" itself is written in Latin with "i" - Libya, the name of its people in the same texts is written with "y" - Lybici. For example, Rufius Festus Avienus in the 1825 Opera collection:
"... Ad rationem locorum eorum, quae pro lectione juirs adducuntur, Avienus Carthaginem Phoenicii juris dicere debetat, non Lybici. Nunc significat esse Lybici ruris, hoc est, coloniam Phoenicum in Libya collocatam...".In addition to this author, the word Lybici is used by several dozen ancient writers. And the Greeks themselves, as already mentioned, quite often confuse iota and upsilon in writing the name of this country. Thus, the entire African continent, in ancient times called Libya, can be included in the list of toponyms with the pan-Kartvelian root "lub". Moreover, all of North Africa, from Egypt to Mauritania, is a continuous chain of unambiguous kartvelisms.
And since the Libyans are known as "luvim" to the Israelis, we need to assume that the true name is "Lybians". Which is our "Lub-"-root.
And finally, in the tomb of Seti the Libyans are depicted as utterly white people.
