KWISA

In the Polish-Czech region of Krkonoše there flows a river called Kwisa. If it had not been for the other Kartvelian toponyms around, its Kartvelian name could have been overlooked. The word is indeed a Kartvelian genitive case "kwisa" (ქვისა) of the word "kwa" (ქვა) meaning "stone". When a word in the Georgian genitive case is placed after the noun, the final "-a" is added. Compare ქვის მდინარე against მდინარე ქვისა. The effect is enhanced by the fact that Kwisa flows through a mountain ridge called Kamenets. Meaning it is indeed rocky.
