KALMYK

The word "Kalmyk" is also Georgian. In this language it is "kalmukhi" (ყალმუხი) derived from the word "kalmi" (ყალმი) - fear, horror. It is interesting that the English "calm" (calm) can also come from here. Calm, that is, seized with horror, that is, motionless, and therefore, calm.

PS: Everything is even more interesting! You know that the English "calm" for some reason is read without "l" - [kam]. Do you know why? In the Georgian language, "horror" is not only the just mentioned "kalmi", but also "kami" (ყამი), namely without the letter "l".
