KAIXO

Thanks to Valeria Apsandze, we found out that the colloquial expression კაი-თქო (kai-tko), containing the truncated adjective "kargi" and the formant of the indirect speech "tko", in principle, can be used as a greeting or be an integral part of phrases containing a greeting.

The Megrelians have their own similar formant of the indirect speech. Where Georgians say "-tko", Megrelians say -შო (sho). Thus, "kai-tko" is transformed in "kai-sho".

"Kaixo" [kaisho] is the main Basque greeting with an unsatisfactory etymology.
