During the Neo-Assyrian Kingdom, the historical region of the Levant, which includes Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine, was called Eber-Nari.
The word "Ebernari" is a remarkably flawless Kartvelian construction with four Kartvelian morphemes, glued together according to all the rules of Kartvelian morphology: "eber + n + ar + i", where the root is followed by the Old Kartvelian plural suffix, the Svan plural suffix and the Kartvelian nominative ending. Actually, that's exactly the way Georgians are forming their tree forests: მუხნარი [muhnari], "oak forest", ნასზვნარი [nadzvnari], "spruce forest".The root "eber" with a huge degree of legitimacy can be equated with the root "iver"/"iber", discussed many times on the pages of this book and interpreted
as "river valley". Moreover, the official translation of the word "EberNari" is precisely "beyond the river". The region actually coincides with the Jezreel Valley.
So, Eber-Nari = "land of the Ibers".
