Malkhaz Grigolia has published ("Ornati", 2006) a Megrelian wordlist, which includes such cognates as ქიმერი ([kimeri], Creator), ქიმერონ ([kimeron], creation) and ქიმია ([kimia], action). There is a lot of room for imagination here. From "Chimera" and "Kimmerians" to "chemistry". The letter ქ is aspirated, so it fully matches "x" (Russian "химия", "химера").
