In Spanish there is a rare word "chama" meaning "exchange, barter". In ancient times, before money appeared, exchange most often had implied at least one thing - food. Something was exchanged for food. In Georgian, "chama" means "to eat".
Imagine an Iberian holding out a hand-made float with the word "chama!", that is, "(exchange for) eat!". On the other hand, a non-Iberian Spaniard perceives the word "chama" as simply "to exchange!". Something similar happened with the word "guinda".
