SURAT

This is the name of the capital of the Indian state of Gujarat, which translates as "land of the Gurj", that is, "Georgian land". It is therefore not surprising that the name of the capital is also a Kartvelian (Zan) toponym: "Surat" = "suri + at" = "land of the suri".

"Suri" means "herd, flock" in Laz and is also the root of "Syria/Assyria".
