In Spanish "catfish" is "siluro", a clear Georgian adjective "siluri" formed from the noun "sila" (แกแแแ, "sand"). Altogether "siluri" would mean "sandy". How much catfish gravitate to sand, let the fishermen tell.
We also remember another similar word - the ancient tribe of the "Siluri" in Britain. We also derived it from the Georgian language, but from another noun - "sili" - that is, "cough". The adjective would be "siluri" too.
