SARULE

In Sardinia there is a town called Sarule, which, like many other toponyms, looks like an ideal Kartvelian toponym ending in "Sa-". If it is, then the name should be interpreted as "place of ruli".

Considering that "ruli" in Georgian means "sleep", we get "place of sleep" or Sarule as "sleepy town". Whether it could have been such or not, history has not conveyed to us. At least, logic allows for such a name, and morphologically, the construction of the name from a Kartvelian point of view is not to be carped at.
