RIETI

An impeccably Kartvelian toponym Rieti exists both in the Gori municipality of Georgia and in central Italy. As for the meaning of the name, it seems to relate to the adjective "rioni", which is the name of a river in Georgia and is simultaneously interpreted in Chanturia's dictionary as "a lot of water". Both "Rieti" and "Rioni" come from "რია" (ria), meaning "commotion" in the Megrelian dictionary of Kobalia.
