PIRU

The composers of the infamous list of "correspondences" between Georgian and Basque languages have done a huge disservice both to Sakartvelo and Euskadi. This list is known, it is on the Internet, and contains practically no real correspondences. It is because of it now the point of view that the Georgian-Basque connection is a myth has won in Spain.

While in fact, the correspondences - the perfect ones! - lie on the surface. I have already shown many of them them. Here is another glaring example.

The word "piru", as you might have guessed, means in Basque the same thing it means in Georgian (პირი): "edge, limit".
