OLUBA

In the Spanish La Rioja, the ancient town of the Berones tribe under the name Libya, according to the requirement of Pliny and other authors, should be pronounced as "Lubia". At the same time, the recorded more ancient name of the toponym - Oliba - according to the same Pliny, should be read as "Oluba", which is a Megrelian toponymic construction "land of the Lubes", fully confirming both the concept of the Lube people as a whole, and the individual toponyms Olub (Olympus) and Olubia (Olbia).
