MONDA/MONCHA

Why do you think in Spanish "tree-cutting time" and also "cleaning fruit and vegetables" are called with the word "monda"? Isn't it because it's "monda" in Megrelian (Kajaia) means "ripe"? It is possible to continue the parallels and remember what the Megrelian "monda" has a synonym "moncha" (also "ripe"), while in Spanish (more precisely, in Mexico) "moncho" means "many", "abundant".
