MATRAKI

In the Ionian Sea there is a small Greek island called Matraki. From the Kartvelian point of view, the word contains the personifying prefix "ma-" and the root "traki", meaning "buttocks". The appropriateness of such a root in the name of the people is explained in detail in the article about "Tracians". The word "matraki" would make sense, if the "trak" morpheme would have relation to a verb (which it can).
