MADERETI

An obscure toponym in Slovak Nitra with the clear Kartvelian suffix “-et” should mean "land of maderi". From the Megrelian point of view "maderi" is a legitimate derivative from "made", which can be found in the dictionary of Kobalia (მადე) in the meaning of "beehive". Thus, "maderi" would mean "beekeeper", and "Madereti" would be "land of beekeepers". And yes, Nitra has a rich history in beekeeping, since 12th century.
