LUBONA

If we agree that in ancient times there was a people of Luba, who identified with the Laz, who, in turn, use the ending "-ona" to form the names of countries, then there must have been a Lubona (in fact, Aleppo-Chalybon alredy is this toponym).

Such a toponym does indeed exist in Congo, where, as has already been said, the Luba tribe lives and which is full of toponyms that are also the roots of Georgian surnames. There are even two Lubonas. One is a small mountain not far from the concentration of mountain gorillas, and the other is a small village to the southwest of Bukavu. There is also a Lubona in southeastern Rwanda. It is a small hill. There is also a Colombian La Lubona (and, as is known, a huge number of Spanish natives, that is, Iberians, left for South America). And the Polish town of Luboń most likely also is that same toponym.
