LIBOURNE

The French city of Libourne may not so much contain the "lub"-root, as it almost completely coincides with the name of the ancient Croatian tribe "Liburni", which, in turn, is an undoubted Kartvelian toponym with the root "lub". This is far from being the only toponym in France that carries this root. In addition to it, the list of potential "lub"-toponyms includes Lubaron, Louvigne, Louvigny, Liverdy, Livarot, Livry, Livron, Louveciennes and... Louvre.
