LIBIENSES

One of the key elements of the entire pan-Kartvelian concept is the name of the inhabitants of the city of Libia in La Rioja mentioned by Pliny. Moreover, Pliny himself insists that it is "Lubienses", and, therefore, the city itself is Lubia. The truth turned out to be even deeper and more interesting, because it is generally recognized that Lubia is a Latinized version of the name "Oluba", which is a clear Megrelian "O-"-construction.
