HARGHITA

As expected, the Romanian Harghita turned out to be the city of "Argessos", which, as we remember well from the chapter on Kartvelian Asia Minor, perfectly equates to the Georgian toponym "Argeti". Note what is said about the etymology of the city's name here:

"Perhaps it refers to "Argeș" (Argessos), but the special phonetic form indicates that there was an unknown intermediate language, which was not Romanian, Hungarian or Slavic. Perhaps some form of Sarmatian or Scythian."

Not Sarmatian, neither Scythian, but Georgian. "Argeti" is the country of the Argi/Aragi."
