The Georgian word "burta" (ball-shaped, that is, "in the shape of a ball" according to Chanturia and a relative of the word "burti" (ball) seem to be directly related to the Basque "buru" in meaning of "head", which is often present in the Basque surnames like Uriburu, Landaburu, Aramburu, etc.
Also note that in "burta" the "-ta" morpheme seems to be a suffix.
