BARGE

The word "barge" (English and French barge) is unlikely to come from the word "barca" - "boat". Since "barge" is a cargo ship, and the verb "to barge" means "to transport cargo" (on a barge), it is more logical to associate this word with the Georgian ბარგი (baggage), among the meanings of which there are "luggage" and "burden". Which is, "cargo".
