Another remarkable example of a purest kartvelism of the Basque language. The word "arbastu" in Mixelena's dictionary means "desbaste", that is, "to reduce". It is derived from the root "bastar" - "to be in sufficient measure" - by adding the negative prefix "des-".
The root coincides with the Basque language as well, as we can see. Only the prefix here (of course, negative) is Georgian - "ar-". The words "ar" and "ara" have no relation to negativity in Mixelena's dictionary. But in our example, it is definitely a Basque word this clearly has a prefix, which is clearly negative.
That means, the Basques do not know that "ar-" in this word is a negative prefix. This example alone is enough to prove the Basque-Georgian connection.
