ARABAT STRELKA

The famous long spit in the east of the Crimean peninsula - Arabat Spit ("Strelka" in Ukrainian) - contains the overt Zan toponym "Arabat", translated as "land of the Arabs". From history we remember that the Arabs in their northern campaigns actually reached a certain "Slavic river". On the other hand, coffee was also supplied to the Genoese Kafa in Crimea by the Arabs. So, we have a right to assume an Arab outpost in the Eastern Crimea, from which the Arabat Strelka got its name.
