A special place among the Crimean-Kartvelian toponyms is occupied by Alupka, previously called Alubika. Having identified and deleted the definite article "A-" at the beginning of the word according to the algorithm described herein many times, we are left with the desired root "lub" - "A Lubika". Compare to "Lazika". The toponym is even more valuable, since it is an example of the root "lub" in its pure form.
