DASHURI

The Albanian word "dashuri" means "love."

If we interpret it as a Georgian adjective—which it morphologically resembles—we must look for the root "dash-."

This root remains in Megrelian, recorded in Otari Kajaia’s dictionary as the verbal noun "dasheba," equated with the Georgian "dasheneba"—meaning "damage, ruin, crime."

Additionally, Georgian "სიდაშე" (sidashe)—a direct formation from the lost "dashi"—means "desire."

This suggests a fascinating semantic evolution, where "dash-" connects concepts of love, desire, and even destruction.
