VERGINE/VIRGIN

The Spanish and English words "virgen/virgin" in Italian is "vergine". If this is a Georgian construction beginning with "ver-" (denotes impossibility of action), then the second "gin" part must be such a verb that it be clear why virgins were called by this word. What can't virgins do by definition? That's right, they can't do dishonor. And what "dishonor" is in Chanturia's dictionary? That's right, "gineba" (გინება).
