One of the words for "ant" in Basque is "txingurri". That is a Kartvelian adjective "chinguri". Let's look into the Georgian dictionary and find there the word ჭინგო ( (chingo) in the meaning of "grass". Hence "chinguri", would literally mean "grassy (insect)". And even deeper, the Russian ant "муравей" [muravei ] comes from "мурава" [murava], which is "grass".
