A little further downstream from the city of Sacolca, Ptolemy's map shows another toponym with a Kartvelian name - Satachtum. Since "takhti" in Georgian means "throne", "Satachte" will mean "land of the throne". One can imagine that it was in Satachtum that the royal throne of Meroe was located.
