PATARBEMIS

Herodotus mentions an ancient Egyptian named Patarbemis, whose name consists of two Georgian roots: patara ("small") and "bemi" - "rank", "position". Thus, "patarbemis" (taking into account the ending of the genitive case) is translated as "(a person) of small rank". Compare to the Georgian surname "Patarkatsishvili", which comes from the genitive case of a similar phrase "patarkatsis" - "a small person".
