PARK

Originally, the word “to park” meant “to put in a certain place,” from which “a park” would be “a place where you can put/put something.” The word პარკი [parki] exists in the Georgian language in exactly this meaning: bag, cocoon, emptiness. An example of how a word borrowed from a Kartvelian language was re-borrowed back by Georgians thousands of years later with a new meaning.
