Georgian "ori" and Megrelian "oro", respectively "two" and "shadow", are likely to be relatives. for the concept of shadow is inseparable from the concept of "two". An object and its shadow will always be together.
Hence the parallel to the Megrelian word "oropa" (ჸოროფა) - "love", which is also most naturally identified with the number two. Or with a shadow. Lovers are each other's shadow.
