LINGUA

"Lingua" is "tongue", as you know. ლინგი [lingi] means "edge" in Georgian. Tongue, to a certain extent, is also an edge. The Georgian mouth (პირი), as we remember, is also an "edge". Also note the Megrelian "-ua" ending.
