GARGANTUA & PANTAGRUEL

Has someone paid attention to the fact that two famous "French" names look extremely Kartvelian? The origin of both is unknown. In the Megrelian dictionary you will find, for example, the word "garganjua", which is translated as გიზგიზი, as well as "gargatua" - დახვევა. "Gargantua" is clearly from this chain.

"Pantagruel", most likely, is a word of two roots. "Panta" in different spellings has a sufficient number of interpretations, meanwhile ღრუილი [gruili] means "stomach ramblings".
