Strabo: "... the Funati also belong to the Dardanians... The Dardanians were absolute savages, who dug holes under dung heaps and lived in them...".
The word "funati", of course, is a Zan toponym, corresponding to the Georgian "funeti", "land of the funi". And "funi/puni" (ფუნი) in Georgian is "dung".
Can be the same root as in "Phoenician" and "Punic".
