HERRI

"Euskal Herria" is what the Basques call their country. The word "herri" (pronounced "erri") means "country", "nation" (Mixelena). In Georgian, ერი (pronounced "eri") also means "nation". Compare also  to the Irish "Eire", pronounced [erie].
