CERAMIC

The word კერა (kera) is translated as "hearth", "stove". Accordingly, "ceramic" - it's "kera" + "-am", a Megrelian adjective suffix. Thus, "kerami" = "of fireplace". And ceramics, you know, is baked in a furnace.
