We proceed from the fact that "sami" ("three" in Georgian) looks like a Megrelian adjective ending in "-ami" from the root "sa-" or "se-". So, we look for "se" and find it in the meaning of... "three" in backgammon. Thus, the counting system in backgammon (where "two" is "du", by the way) is the most ancient counting. More ancient than today's Georgian numerals.
