ANATOLIA

This word is interesting not only because it means a land entirely populated by Kartvelian-speaking peoples in ancient times, but also because, at least on the medieval map of the Dutchman Visscher, it is given in the version of "Natolia", leaving behind the prefix "A-", which is the definite article here.
The root "nat-" can be found in the Kartvelian word "natli", meaning "light". Which is, "sunrise".
